Your responsibilities as starting point for constant growth

Analysts joining our team will have the opportunity to work directly with clients to drive sustainable impact while developing their expertise and consulting skills. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Working across a range of sustainable areas relevant to the private sector companies
  • Supporting client in defining their sustainability strategies (low carbon, circular economy, etc.) by working on data collection, desk research, benchmarking, client interviews, and data analysis
  • Supporting project proposals including client and peer research and gathering qualifications and team resume
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative data processing and analysis
  • Developing clear and concise slide decks to communicate project outputs, research findings and analytics, and recommendations
  • Helping clients implement proposed solutions
  • Undertaking administrative tasks

Your qualifications

  • You are either in the final stages of, or have completed, a Master’s Degree in business, economics, energy, climate, environment, sustainability, or a related area
  • You have strong interest in sustainability related topics and ESG
  • You are a self-assured critical thinker and a problem solver
  • You have experience in and enjoy synthetising wide range of qualitative and quantitative information with details, logic and tailored to the targeted audience
  • You have excellent command of English, both written and oral, and ideally fluency in at least one more EU language; ability to work in French or Dutch is considered an advantage
  • Excellent proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook

Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include having an independent, pro-active personality, an interdisciplinary mind-set, and a genuine interest and commitment towards sustainability topics. Also, you should be able to communicate complex issues in a simple way both in writing and verbally and to handle multiple priorities and a varied workload.

How to apply

The opportunity we offer is an internship through the Belgian CIP (professional induction programme) and has a duration of 6 months, with the possibility to extend this period by a further 6 months depending on performance. The internship period is from 1st April to 30th March 2023 (+/- 1-month flexibility). It will be remunerated at 1,100 EUR net per month and will include normal social security contributions and holidays. The working language is English.
