GITA is looking for a Marketing Director (m/f/d)

Marketing Director Role Overview:

We are looking for an energetic, world-class, creative marketer to join as a leader at GITA. You will be instrumental in designing GITA marketing and communication strategy, including branding and positioning of GITA both in the impact investing and tech innovation sectors.
In addition, the marketing director will conduct and oversee day-to-day administrative and operational activities such as creating marketing campaigns, social media, blogs and presentations to website management, marketing automation, and virtual and f2f event support.

Job Description:

  • Support in the creation, messaging, design, scheduling, and dissemination of a wide range of marketing deliverables from presentations to webinars.  
  • Manage the administration and coordination of virtual and face-to-face events 
  • Support day-to-day inquiries to the team 
  • Maintain company’s website
  • Manage all social media activities, including newsletter calendar and analysis of results 
  • Actively participate in the development of new ideas and content mapping
  • Create internal reports to track key marketing performance indicators and activities

  • Vision and passion regarding people and planet, with genuine excitement about the potential of tech innovation to affect humanity’s global challenges, as addressed in the SDGs
  • Deep understanding of the tech ecosystem or the impact investing ecosystem. Advantage for candidates that are familiar with both worlds!
  • Proven experience in creating marketing and communication strategy for new organizations
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Data-driven thinking; highly analytical, organized and detail-oriented, self-starter
    • Experience with Web-based CMS/marketing automation tools (CRM experience)
    • Highly organized, exceptional attention to detail and project management skills
    • Good understanding of HTML, WordPress – advantage
    • Design skills – BIG advantage

Job Location: Remote, with mini offices in Israel, Germany (Berlin), and Portugal

Scope of Work: This is a new venture and for the first 6 months, the position is only at a 25% level (approximately 10 hours/week). However the scope will increase after proof of concept. Compensation approximately EUR 2,500 per month.
