Ohana Consultancy is looking for a Junior Consultant (m/f/d)

You will contribute to Ohana activities by:

Supporting Founder and Senior Consultants by
- Monitoring EU developments and delivering up-to-date intelligence;
- Undertaking research work and drafting policy briefs;
- Delivering clear, precise and client-driven analysis and advice;
- Liaising with European institutions and other stakeholders;
- Attending and report on external events;
- Focusing on the following policies: climate, biodiversity, chemicals and microplastics
Participating in client meetings and bring issues to Ohana founder and senior consultants;
Contributing to Ohana mission of driving change
- through awareness-raising with blog articles;
- through collaboration by participating in 1% For The Planet project with a pro-bono support to one organisation.

1-2 years’ work experience on sustainability matters;
Master’s degree in European studies;
Deep understanding of European policy making process and EU Institutions;
Clear thinking/problem solving; ability to simplify strategy into specific actions with clear accountability and make decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information;

Deep interest in sustainability and textile industry;
Willing to work with organisations driving positive change and creating positive impacts through policies;
Team player, proactive and willing to take on responsibilities;
Excellent research skills, ability to synthesise information and extract key messages
Entrepreneurial mind set;
A good team player, willing to contribute at every level;
Enthusiasm, a dynamic, quick-thinking approach to work;
Fluent English skills (speaking and writing) – additional languages are a plus;

Challenging assignments on topical EU political issues and developments;
A focus on in-depth understanding of sustainability issues, and providing intelligent strategic advice;
A non-hierarchical, friendly working environment within a small and effectively managed structure.
