Ohana Consultancy is looking for a Junior Consultant (m/f/d)

About the role

You will contribute to Ohana activities by:

  • Supporting Founder and Senior Consultants by
    • Monitoring EU developments and delivering up-to-date intelligence;
    • Undertaking research work and drafting policy briefs;
    • Delivering clear, precise and client-driven analysis and advice;
    • Liaising with European institutions and other stakeholders;
    • Attending and report on external events;
    • Focusing on the following policies: climate, biodiversity, chemicals and microplastics
  • Participating in client meetings and bring issues to Ohana founder and senior consultants;
  • Contributing to Ohana mission of driving change
    • through awareness-raising with blog articles;
    • through collaboration by participating in 1% For The Planet project with a pro-bono support to one organisation.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ work experience on sustainability matters;
  • Master’s degree in European studies;
  • Deep understanding of European policy making process and EU Institutions;
  • Clear thinking/problem solving; ability to simplify strategy into specific actions with clear accountability and make decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information;

Skills

  • Deep interest in sustainability and textile industry;
  • Willing to work with organisations driving positive change and creating positive impacts through policies;
  • Team player, proactive and willing to take on responsibilities;
  • Excellent research skills, ability to synthesise information and extract key messages
  • Entrepreneurial mind set;
  • A good team player, willing to contribute at every level;
  • Enthusiasm, a dynamic, quick-thinking approach to work;
  • Fluent English skills (speaking and writing) – additional languages are a plus;
