Oxfam International Secretariat is looking for for an ECHO and UN Humanitarian Partnership Manager to increase impact, influence, and income for Oxfam and partners’ humanitarian and influencing programs through partnerships with ECHO, UNICEF, UNHCR, UNOCHA and WFP. This role will contribute to that goal in several key ways: strategy development; relationship management, new business development; account management; capacity building; and external representation on behalf of Oxfam.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who is self-aware, with good strategic thinking and judgement. You will have experience of raising significant funds from institutional donors including ECHO and UN agencies, and of creating and maintaining relationships and networks with institutional donors.

We are seeking someone who is skilled at developing relationships of trust, gaining buy-in from others, and leading internal stakeholders in an inclusive and clear way, holding each other to account.

You will be leading Oxfam’s global relationship with a number of key strategic donors, and will be able to represent Oxfam effectively, as well as facilitate access to others, in particular our country colleagues and local organisations. You will be able to deal with complexity and ambiguity with professionalism and grace, and often with humour, and be a supportive peer to staff and partners working with ECHO and UN agencies across Oxfam’s network. Respect for your colleagues across the world, and appreciation of their different contexts, will be key.

What we offer

This role will give you an opportunity to lead and work with different stakeholders across Oxfam and externally to make a difference through forging new partnerships and funding from a key set of donor partners for Oxfam. You will have the space to be creative and develop the role in your own way. You would be part of a supportive and vibrant Brussels Office, Institutional Funding Team and Institutional Funding worldwide network. We offer a competitive salary and benefits, including good parental and care leave, and the opportunity to contribute to other team priorities and undertake professional development.

How to apply

Please upload an up-to-date CV and a covering letter, clearly explaining your suitability against the essential criteria in the job profile.

Kindly note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted – usually within 2 weeks from the closing date.
