Professional Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a degree in life sciences
  • 5+years professional experience and strong business acumen in public/corporate affairs within a Life Sciences context
  • Experience within patient advocacy in an agency, corporation or NGO on a local/international level
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation in strategy and execution; agile & hands-on mentality; ability to successfully influence without authority, and effectively work across functions and personalities, strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to lead project groups and cross-functional teams. Demonstrated good judgment and ability to effectively prioritize workload
  • Excellent follow-through, attention to detail and high sense of urgency
  • Excellent command of German and English
  • Well-versed in Office 365

  • You develop and implement an integrated strategy for AOP Health’s goal of engaging with patient advocacy and other related stakeholders around rare diseases
  • You identify and develop strong relationships with critical patient advocacy stakeholders to advance common interests relating to AOP Health’s disease areas

  • You act as the company representative for patient advocacy organizations, maintain and enhance relationships with key patient advocacy partners
  • You develop and implement projects and activities with patient advocacy groups and other related stakeholders to improve the standard of care across Europe (and globally)

Able to align?

  • You collaborate closely with Corporate Communications to increase internal and external communications for awareness days/months, podcasts and other Patient Advocacy events
  • You proactively engage, manage and cultivate relationships with patient organizations, influencers and communities globally across multiple disease areas of interest
  • You drive disease awareness and education in collaboration with Corporate Communications utilizing multiple communication channels (website, social media, conferences, annual mtgs, etc).

The gross monthly salary provided for this function is a minimum of € 4.000.- based on full-time employment. However, we offer an attractive compensation package which is significantly above the minimum salary.
