Austrian Doctors

Austrian Doctors is an Austrian aid organization operating worldwide, founded in Salzburg in 2008. Our work focuses on medical aid and education, and we are committed to helping people regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, social status, religion, nationality, or political opinion.

Our target group is people in need in “chronic crisis areas” who have no access to medical aid and education. Our medical approach is based on medicine for the poor. Medical aid includes measures to improve local infrastructure, such as building wells for clean drinking water. We also support children and adults through school and training projects with the aim of enabling them to lead self-determined lives in their own country. We work closely with local partners in our projects. This creates the opportunity for decades of sustainable development.
