Who We Are

economiesuisse is the umbrella organization for the Swiss business community. We represent the interests of the competitive, internationally connected, and socially responsible Swiss business community. As a bridge between politics, business, and society, we advocate for optimal framework conditions for Swiss companies—from SMEs to large corporations. Under the umbrella of economiesuisse, we bring together 100 industry associations, 20 cantonal chambers of commerce, and individual companies. We thus represent approximately 100,000 companies from all sectors and regions of Switzerland, which employ about two million people. We maintain an open, constructive, and solution-oriented dialogue with economic policymakers and the general public. We also work alongside our partners to achieve common goals during national referendums. Our commitment to the economy is guided by the principles of a free-market economic system and sustainable growth.
