abgeordnetenwatch is an independent, public-interest platform based in Hamburg and Berlin. For over 20 years, we have been committed to a vibrant, transparent democracy that citizens can actively shape.

Our platform facilitates a moderated dialogue on equal terms between citizens and elected representatives. In addition, we document—among other things—the voting records, committee memberships, and outside activities of political decision-makers. Our independent investigative team researches covert influence exerted through lobbying, party donations, and conflicts of interest. Through targeted campaigns, we advocate for binding transparency rules, greater citizen participation, and free access to political information.
