Polis180

Polis180 e.V. was founded in 2015 as a non-partisan platform to give the younger generation a stronger voice in the debate on foreign and European policy.

With this in mind, Polis180 supports young people’s political engagement and sees itself as a research-based think tank with roots in civil society. Through creative, engaging event and publication formats, we succeed in reaching young people from diverse social backgrounds and raising their awareness of foreign and European policy issues. We address our questions and ideas directly to political decision-makers. Our more than 600 members work on a voluntary basis across four thematic clusters: EU.ROPA (including European Security and Defence Policy, European Economic Policy, and the Eastern Perspective), Global Issues (including Gender and International Politics, Climate and Energy, Digitalisation and Cybersecurity, and Migration), Regions of the World (The America(n)s, connectingAsia), and Beyond Berlin, where regional groups outside Berlin organise their activities.
