Sea-Watch e.V. is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to the civilian rescue of refugees at sea. In light of the ongoing, state-induced humanitarian crisis in the central Mediterranean, Sea-Watch provides emergency assistance while simultaneously calling for and pushing for rescues by the relevant European institutions, and publicly advocates for legal migration routes.
