Seitenwechsel

Seitenwechsel is a non-profit association that promotes innovation in the educational landscape, especially in schools.

Seitenwechsel is the first spin-off of the Mega Bildungsstiftung, which supports educational innovation in Austria. Seitenwechsel was founded in 2020 by Erwin Greiner.

We want to enable greater permeability between school and business and more in-depth knowledge about each other's fields. Students should be even better prepared for life after school.

Seitenwechsel selects the most courageous teachers in Vienna, who swap the classroom for a workplace in a company for a certain period of time in order to bring new ideas from business and professional life to their school. The experience in the company is immediately followed by the implementation phase of the transfer project, in order to specifically incorporate what has been learned into the teacher's own school. Managers can also accompany the school management for 1-2 days and school principals can spend 1-2 days getting a taste of the company.
