SRG SSR

SRG is a public and independent media organization that provides multimedia public service content across all regions and languages of the country. It is also a non-profit association and is thus firmly rooted in society.

SRG provides the entire population of Switzerland with an attractive and diverse range of TV, radio, and online programming covering news, culture, education, entertainment, and sports. These offerings promote the formation of opinions and diversity of views in Switzerland and provide an important service to society.

The Federal Radio and Television Act (RTVA) and the Federal Council’s license require the SRG to fulfill a public service mandate.
