Association for the Advancement of Political Action

The Association for the Promotion of Political Engagement (Verein zur Förderung politischen Handelns e.V., or v.f.h.) is a non-partisan provider of civic and political education. Since 1992, it has organized seminars, training courses, workshops, and political study trips for young people throughout Germany and across Europe. In the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, its activities are represented by the Political Education Center: Young Adults Make Politics (JumP).

Originally founded as a youth education organization based on the principle of peer education, v.f.h. has evolved into a broad network of politically engaged professionals who are active across a wide range of policy fields. Its members work in ministries, political parties, associations, parliaments, and political consulting, bringing practical political experience into its educational programs.
