Die Arbeitswelt der Zukunft

The working world of the future

What will the working world of the future look like? What are companies planning or implementing today in order to respond to these profound changes?

What will the working world of the future look like? What measures are companies planning or already implementing in response to these profound changes? These questions are addressed in Deloitte's Global Human Capital Trends 2025 report. Based on a survey of nearly 13,000 executives and HR experts from 93 countries, the report shows that change is presenting many companies with challenges in their employee-organization relationships. The central question is how to best balance economic results with long-term added value for employees. Currently, employees spend around 41% of their time on tasks that do not create any real added value. The authors therefore advocate streamlining processes and promoting productive work. The obvious solution: the integration of AI technologies. Here, it is emphasized that the use of technology should essentially serve people and that companies must define more clearly in the future what value human work should have. We were also interested in the following topics:

  • Economic crisis: The latest survey results show that many jobs could be lost in 2025, reports Tagesschau. More than one in three companies in Germany say they will have to cut jobs this year due to the economic situation. Industrial companies are particularly affected, with 42% expecting to have to cut jobs in 2025.

  • Job changes: Employees are increasingly quitting their jobs, as a new study shows. Although the labor market as a whole is characterized by staff cuts, it is increasingly not employers who are laying off employees, but employees who are voluntarily terminating their employment, writes t-online.

  • European Forum Alpbach: Ticket sales for the European Forum Alpbach have started. Under the motto “Recharge Europe,” Alpbach in Tyrol will once again be the venue for one of Europe's largest civil society summits for two weeks in August. This is where people who want to shape Europe's future come together.
