Working at GCCM is more than a job: it’s a calling. We’re looking for people from diverse backgrounds who share an entrepreneurial spirit, a commitment to the mission, and a sense of community.

Why join GCCM? We do good work, we’re led by the spirit, and we have fun.

We act at the forefront of faith-based action on climate change:

  • we secured over 1 million signatures to support the Paris agreement and we play a crucial role in raising the Catholic voice at key moments;
  • we work closely with the Vatican to support Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’ efforts;
  • we’ve coordinated thousands of grassroots events, and we empower Catholic communities to take bold action;
  • we’ve helped distribute climate change prayer guides in 10,000+ parishes;
  • we’ve reached millions of people through press and digital media outreach;
  • and much more.

Our work is fast-paced, ambitious, and exciting.

We are doing God’s work, grounded in the spirituality of Laudato Si’:

  • we are guided by Laudato Si’, the beautiful vision of peace between the Creator and all creation, including the human family;
  • we believe in the Laudato Si’ concept of integral ecology, seeing that “everything is connected”;
  • we reflect, pray, and sing together;
  • we rely on spiritual guidance from diverse perspectives—indigenous leaders, women and men religious, and young people; and
  • we bring Catholic social teaching into our shared life together.

We rely on faith to guide us through the challenges of the ecological crisis.

We find joy and strength in each other:

  • across the eight languages of our staff team, we speak the common language of laughter;
  • we celebrate the small accomplishments that add up to big change;
  • when challenges get tough, we find ways to support each other; and
  • we value openness, dialogue, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

We bring our full humanity to work with us.
