Euratex is looking for a Project Officer – Skills Department (m/f/d)

Main tasks:

  • Supporting the general management of ongoing projects in the area of training and skills, including administrative work and budget planning;
  • Implementing and managing the Communication Plan of the ongoing projects;
  • Producing reports and other project deliverables as required;
  • Supporting the Senior Project Officer on the preparation of technical and financial reports for the European Commission;
  • Organising public and internal events (both physical and online);
  • Liaising with the relevant European Commission services;
  • Regularly communicating with project partners, EURATEX members and other stakeholders;
  • Identifying new strategic initiatives and project opportunities for the Skills department;
  • Writing of new project applications & policy papers.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, specifically in EU funded project management (ideally in a coordinator position);
  • Strong interest in the area of skills & training;
  • Knowledge of the textiles and clothing sector will be considered an asset;
  • Fluent in English; other European languages an asset;
  • Degree in European Studies, political sciences or international relations or equivalent through experience;
  • Strong communication skills, positive inter-personal skills, team player;
  • Excellent IT, and social media skills (MS Office incl. SharePoint, Teams & other videoconferencing tools, WordPress, e-newsletter tools such as Mailchimp, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn).

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Project Officer of the Skills department. Ideally, the position is to be filled as soon as possible.
