Amnesty International, Swiss Section

Amnesty International is an international nongovernmental organization (NGO) dedicated to a world where human rights apply to everyone. Amnesty International is independent of governments, political parties, ideologies, business interests, and religions. Its greatest strength lies in the volunteer commitment of over 10 million supporters worldwide.

The Swiss Section’s headquarters in Bern and its regional offices in Geneva and Lugano currently employ around 70 permanent staff members, interns, and civil service workers. For the past two years, Amnesty Switzerland has been organized holocratically.
