Vision & Mission

Our overarching goal is to make Germany a leading digital location, drive forward the digital transformation of the economy and administration, strengthen digital sovereignty, and achieve broad social participation in digital developments.

As the most important digital association and largest European think tank on digital issues, we bring the digital economy into dialogue with politics, the media, science, and society.

+ 2,200 companies

belong to our membership, including more than 1,300 high-performing SMEs, around 750 innovative tech startups, half of the 40 DAX companies, and many other global players. Together, we develop positions and recommendations for action for politics and business.

+ 100 employees

are passionately and competently committed to the digitalization of the economy, society, and administration. Each of them has their own areas of focus. We bring our knowledge and professional experience together for a digital Germany.

With our voluntary commitment and as a signatory to the Transparent Civil Society Initiative, we wish to join a group of non-governmental organizations that are committed to transparency.
