CHOCOSUISSE and BISCOSUISSE are the associations of industrial manufacturers of popular Swiss products such as chocolate, biscuits, herbal sweets, snacks, and other delicacies and foods. Our members range from companies with globally recognized brands to traditional Swiss family businesses and innovative SMEs operating in the B2B sector.

Tasks of CHOCOSUISSE

CHOCOSUISSE is the association of Swiss chocolate manufacturers and the competent contact for all questions relating to Swiss chocolate.

• Economic policy: CHOCOSUISSE is committed to competitive framework conditions for Switzerland as a production location.

• Training and further education: CHOCOSUISSE is committed to high-quality and attractive training and further education.

• Protection of the “Swiss” designation of origin: CHOCOSUISSE protects the “Swiss chocolate” designation of origin for chocolate and takes action against misuse worldwide.

• Employer issues: CHOCOSUISSE has been a social partner in the collective labor agreement for the Swiss chocolate industry since 1938 and advises member companies on labor law issues.

• Sustainability: CHOCOSUISSE is committed to an economically, socially, and ecologically sustainable industry.

• Food law and quality: CHOCOSUISSE continuously monitors developments at home and abroad, develops implementation aids and statements, and advises member companies on food law and food safety issues.
