Expedition Grundeinkommen

The Expedition Grundeinkommen (Basic Income Expedition) is a movement of people who want Germany to launch a pilot project for an unconditional basic income. We are taking a unique approach to this by using direct democracy—i.e., referendums and plebiscites—to get this pilot project off the ground.

The expedition is sponsored by Vertrauensgesellschaft e.V. Since 2019, we have been collecting signatures for basic income as part of the expedition.

Expedition Grundeinkommen works closely with FRIBIS (Freiburg Institute for Basic Income Studies) at the University of Freiburg. FRIBIS offers opportunities for networking with international experts from various disciplines and provides scientific support to Expedition Grundeinkommen.
