Gesamtverband der Personaldienstleister (GVP)

The General Association of Personnel Service Providers (GVP) was formed in 2023 through the merger of the Federal Employers' Association of Personnel Service Providers (BAP) and the Interest Group of German Temporary Employment Agencies (iGZ). The GVP represents over 5,600 member companies and, together with the DGB trade unions, organizes the working and social conditions for around 800,000 temporary workers.

The employers' and trade association represents the personnel services industry in Germany, from temporary work and recruitment to personnel consulting and personnel development. The GVP is a registered association with the purpose of promoting working and economic conditions in the field of personnel services and representing the common interests of its members vis-à-vis politicians, social partners, academia, and the public. The dedicated full-time team at the offices in Berlin and Münster currently consists of around 60 people who are committed to promoting the future viability of the industry and its member companies.
