ICEP Association for Global Development

ICEP is an independent Austrian development organisation with a clear objective: to bring people to the economy and the economy to the people. We work with local partner organisations and Austrian companies to actively involve large sections of the population in emerging and developing countries in economic life and enable them to escape poverty. In doing so, we place a strong emphasis on training and the establishment of self-sustaining local structures.

ICEP promotes an economically oriented approach to development cooperation and, to this end, founded the corporAID initiative in 2003. Through corporAID, we demonstrate how economically oriented development cooperation and businesses can jointly generate innovative solutions for global, sustainable development. corporAID encourages Austrian companies to harness the potential of developing countries – whilst linking their economic engagement to a clear contribution to the SDGs. To this end, we organise regular events and publish the corporAID magazine. Our communications portfolio is complemented by the ‘Impact weltweit’ podcast and the ‘An espresso with…’ video series.
