The Austrian Society for European Policy (ÖGfE) has been working for many years to present European issues in an understandable way and to contextualize Europe-wide developments for Austria. Our content is aimed at citizens, schools, the media, and decision-makers. Through continuous observation of political processes in the European Union, we provide background knowledge and guidance, particularly on issues of European policy in Austria. One focus is the analysis of developments that have an impact on Austria. These include economic, social, and institutional issues in the EU. Our policy briefs and commentaries offer concise, fact-based assessments.

Another area is educational work. Schools and educational institutions receive materials and offers that explain European issues in a way that is relevant to everyday life. These include the teacher seminar, the vocational school tour, and the traveling exhibition, which convey European issues in a clear and age-appropriate manner. These offers support the exchange of information on relevant developments and complement events and workshops that enable direct dialogue with experts and practitioners.

Our projects combine research, dialogue, and practice. In cooperation with partners from social partnerships, academia, and civil society, we promote objective discussions on European issues. A central format is the Europa Club Wien, which regularly offers public discussions on current developments in the European Union.
