Shaping the future, creating freedom of action

Who we are

As the umbrella organization for Swiss banks, the Swiss Bankers Association (SBA) brings together around 265 member institutions from various banking groups and other financial service providers. The Bankers Association represents the interests of the Swiss financial center vis-à-vis politicians, authorities, and the general public.

We are committed to entrepreneurial freedom and open markets, and advocate for framework conditions that provide scope for the development of an innovative and diverse banking sector. As a knowledge center, we think ahead, set the agenda, and drive the industry forward in a sustainable manner.
