Association for Media with a Future

In August 2017, journalists, publishers, and media professionals founded the “Media with a Future” Association. Its purpose is to promote diverse competition in journalism. Even though journalism is becoming less and less of a lucrative business model, there is still a need for reliable information that is relevant to democracy, thorough research, and a diversity of opinions. The association actively contributes to keeping Switzerland’s media landscape vibrant. As a strong voice for journalism, it actively participates in media policy debates and advocates for the development of an open journalistic infrastructure.
