Consultant (m/f/d) Public Policy

You are passionate about public policy and personal growth

• You want to contribute to developing creative and novel solutions to achieve the clients’ strategic objectives: identify policy opportunities, win regulatory approval, and ensure the long-term (societal, political, regulatory) licence to operate for companies, their products, and services;
• You aspire to develop a deep understanding of the interplay between political, societal, and economic trends and business strategies;
• You enjoy conducting research and developing strategic advice based on thorough, tech-enabled, and data-driven analyses – or helping to create these tools alongside our tech team;
• You are eager to learn the craft of strategic communications: developing key messages, identifying relevant stakeholders, compiling strategy presentations and communications materials, and pitching these to our clients.

Your education, skills, and experience

• You excel as a team player, yet are highly motivated, ambitious, and want to help shape our young but fast-growing consultancy with your entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on mentality;
• You speak and write German at a native level, and are fluent in written and spoken English;
• You can demonstrate a sound understanding of the German political system in combination with a degree in economics, statistics, social/political sciences, law, or equivalent practical experience;
• You have strong writing, presentational, and analytical skills;
• You have the ability to reduce complexity, communicate comprehensively, and develop solutions for potential risks;
• Ideally, you have a basic understanding of how businesses operate and the implications of regulatory, political, and societal trends;
• Ideally, you have previous work experience, such as internships / student jobs within the public policy environment (government, consultancies, think tanks, industry associations, technology industry groups, or similar) or within consultancies.
