To that end, we are building a community of the brightest minds in politics, from all democratic parties and on all levels of governance. Our headquarter is in Vienna with partner offices in 15 European countries.

POLIS is a digital start-up to empower and connect political professionals. Democracies around the world are experiencing major challenges: The rise of populists, climate change, and social inequalities are only the most obvious ones. To meet these challenges, leaders in the political sphere need to interconnect and share best practices.

  • Project management and day-to-day management
  • Project documentation, monitoring & evaluation
  • Verification and management of changes in project scope, schedule and cost
  • Coordination of internal and third parties resources
  • Taking care of funding processes
  • Responsible for ongoing communication with all stakeholders
  • Drafting and editing of texts (in German and English) (such as fund applications)
  • Providing information to the communications team for the production of communication media/materials
  • Organisation and documentation of project meetings

What you should bring to this role

  • Interest in politics and innovating the political sphere
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a comparable position
  • Experiences in the development of digital products
  • Strong communication skills written, online and in person
  • Team player with problem solving attitude
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Organizational skills (attention to detail and multitasking)
  • Ideally, you also have experience in
    • fundraising
    • managing funding bids
    • working in a start-up environment

What we offer

We provide you with an international working environment, a passionate team, a timely cause, a treasure trove of content and a great workplace close to the city centre. In addition, you will profit from:

  • A positive work environment with room for your creative ideas
  • An open-minded and dynamic corporate culture
  • Personal development opportunities
  • Self-determination in your work organisation and a supporting team
