The Research Analyst’s role is to build, develop and strengthen CEMR-PLATFORMA fact-based knowledge and expertise in decentralised development cooperation. More specifically, the role involves conducting research on decentralised cooperation among European cities and municipalities, by means of desk reviews, interviews, and surveys to map cooperation patterns. While the role is centred on research, it also entails assessing funding opportunities for future research on decentralised development cooperation, and drafting project reports for submission to funders.
The Research Analyst reports to the Projects & Programmes Director and works closely with the PLATFORMA programme, the Bridges of Trust Initiative, and the Communication team members.

For this position, we offer a two-year full-time contract, with a possibility to extend further, based on performance and funding available. The signature of the employment contract and the starting date is subject to the signature of the grant agreement with the funder.
