About us

EurEau is the European water services association. We represent 38 national organisations of drinking water and wastewater service providers from 33 countries, across both the public and private sectors.

Our members operate and maintain critical infrastructure that underpins water resilience in Europe and ensures the continuity of vital societal functions.

Through the continuous supply of clean, safe drinking water and the responsible treatment and return of wastewater to the environment, water services safeguard public health, protect ecosystems, and support food security and economic stability.

Our network brings together water professionals to develop common European positions on water quality, resource efficiency, and secure access to water for both people and industry.

As solution providers, our members design and deliver context-specific water services, adapting technologies, operations and investments to local needs across households, agriculture and industry. In doing so, they help industries remain competitive and support sustainable food production in a changing climate.

We also work to raise awareness of the growing pressures on Europe’s water resources and the need for sustained investment and supportive policies to strengthen resilience.
