State Association of Jewish Communities in Hesse

The State Association of Jewish Communities in Hesse represents the shared interests of its member communities in dealings with government, public authorities and the wider public.

It promotes Jewish life in Hesse and supports the communities’ religious, social and cultural activities.

Its responsibilities also include overseeing Jewish religious education in schools and the care and supervision of Jewish cemeteries across Hesse.
