What we stand for

We advocate for comprehensive, interprofessional palliative care throughout Switzerland, integrating medicine and nursing with pastoral care, psychology, social work, and other medically indicated therapeutic treatments. We provide up-to-date, accessible knowledge and demonstrate the social and economic benefits of palliative care. We also recognize the importance of human contact, spiritual resources, comfort, hope, and the search for meaning at the end of life. In this way, we lay the foundation for the comprehensive recognition and financing of palliative care services in Switzerland. We achieve this by connecting stakeholders with each other and with the general public.
