We are looking for a strategic and well-connected Account Manager to manage Electica’s relationships and presence in the European political and advocacy ecosystem.
The Role
This role sits at the intersection of client management, industry insight, and growth. You will manage key accounts across Europe while also acting as one of Electica’s key external representatives.
At its core, the role will require expert day-to-day client management for some of our biggest campaigns. From developing proposals, supporting campaign success, and presenting reporting, you will get the chance to work with some of the most influential progressive political operators in Europe.
You’ll help interpret the rapidly evolving digital political advertising landscape across Europe - from TTPA regulatory developments to platform and ad tech changes - and translate that insight into effective campaign strategies.
You will also play an important role in growing our European presence by retaining and building relationships with parties, campaigners, and advocacy organisations, contributing thought leadership, and identifying new opportunities for collaboration and business development.
This role requires someone who combines deep ecosystem knowledge, strong judgement, and the ability to build trust with complex political stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities

Strategic Account Management: Own relationships and success for key European clients. You will ensure successful campaign delivery while acting as a strategic advisor on digital campaign planning, targeting, and measurement. You will translate client briefs into actionable campaign plans, oversee campaign execution and reporting, and act as the escalation point for complex issues. You will also ensure campaigns remain aligned with objectives, proactively identifying opportunities to improve performance, expand activity, or adapt strategy
Ecosystem Monitoring & Strategic Insight: Maintain and grow a strong understanding of the evolving European political advertising ecosystem. You will track regulatory developments including TTPA and GDPR, election timelines, platform policies, and ad tech availability across European markets. You will translate these developments into strategic insights for both clients and internal teams, helping Electica stay ahead of changes that impact digital political campaigning.
Commercial Growth & Partnerships: Support the growth of Electica’s European client base, and contribute to the growth of our self-serve ads platform ‘Advocate’. You will identify potential clients and partners across European markets, help reactivate past leads, contribute to proposal development and pitching, and work with leadership to develop joint offerings with strategic partners. You will also represent Electica in relevant industry networks and events, building relationships that support long-term client growth and collaboration.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the bridge between clients and internal teams, including AdOps, Product, Finance, Marketing and Business Development. You will coordinate campaign delivery, ensure reporting and campaign pacing meet client expectations, and work with internal teams on pricing, invoicing, contractual matters, and operational processes. You will also bring client feedback into product and platform discussions, helping ensure our tools and services reflect the needs of the European political advertising ecosystem.
Ideal Skills & Experience
Experience: 5+ years of experience in a combination of digital advertising, political technology, or client services, with at least 2 years specifically in the political or progressive advocacy ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have previously worked as an Account Manager or equivalent title/function.
Strategic Thinking and Judgement: You can look beyond daily tasks to understand the client's broader political strategy. You can confidently advise a Campaign Manager or Digital Director on how to allocate their budget most effectively.
Commercial Acumen: You understand the business side of an agency. You are comfortable discussing budgets, negotiating contracts, and identifying opportunities to grow revenue.
Tech, TTPA and Regulatory Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the digital campaigning ecosystem, including DSPs (Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, The Trade Desk, or other DSPs) and the related regulatory frameworks in which digital advertising operates.
Leadership Potential: Experience managing or mentoring junior staff. You are ready to take ownership not just of your work, but of the team's success.
Project Management: Experience taking ownership and leading development of projects, processes or campaigns, including delegating, troubleshooting, and organisation.
Operational Alignment: Available during CET business hours regardless of physical location.
Compensation & Benefits
Total target compensation in the region of €90k per year, including:
Base salary (around €75k, depending on location & experience)
