What impact is the rise of artificial intelligence having on the world of work, and how can AI be used there?
OpenAI, ChatGPT & Co. - Artificial intelligence is on the rise and, thanks to new innovations, has become more accessible and normal than ever before. But what impact does this have on the world of work, and how can AI be used there? According to the Handelsblatt, AI applications could revolutionize six specific industries in particular. These include the cultural sector, where entire works are already being created by AI. The SZ describes why this is not only being received positively, but is also meeting with a lot of criticism from artists, using the example of an art competition won by AI. Meanwhile, in the ifaa trend barometer, only 31% of executives said that AI would play a greater role in their work in 2023. The data from an employee survey conducted by Ipsos at the end of 2021 was similar: here, 32% expected AI to change their work in particular. The noticeable effects on the world of work therefore seem to be limited at first. ingenieur.de writes about why AI is being accepted rather hesitantly: on the one hand, there is often a lack of practical approaches and ideas for possible applications, and on the other hand, many people are not prepared for it and are therefore skeptical about the topic. The practical tips from Chip, which highlight possible uses of AI in the workplace, offer a solution to at least the first problem. The options range from text creation and image editing to research tasks. We were also interested in these topics:
