A new study by the Bertelsmann Stiftung, which evaluated 7.7 million job offers from 2024, shows that only 16.4% explicitly advertise family-friendliness. Salary transparency: The desire for more openness regarding salaries is growing, but most companies continue to refrain from providing clear information. A Freiburg-based start-up is breaking with this tradition and is disclosing (€) all salaries.
Time savings through AI: Around three-quarters of AI users gain up to three hours per week. For 15.6% of users, the time savings are not noticeable. However, the time saved is not used productively. An open AI culture within the company makes all the difference: employees save over six hours per week and use the time for further training, for example.
Labor market integration of refugees: Ten years after the refugee crisis, a new IAB study draws a mixed conclusion about labor market integration. While the employment rate of 64% has almost reached the level of the overall population, full-time refugees earn only 70% of the German median salary.
