acatech – National Academy of Science and Engineering is the national academy funded by the federal and state governments and the voice of science and engineering in Germany and abroad.

Area of work:

It advises politicians and society on future issues relating to engineering sciences and technology policy. Under the patronage of the Federal President, it fulfills its advisory role independently, based on facts and with a focus on the common good. Its members are scientists from Germany and abroad who work together in interdisciplinary working groups.
