The Alliance for Legal Certainty in Political Decision-Making

We are the Alliance for Legal Certainty in Political Decision-Making, an association of various civil society organizations, large and small, working locally and nationally.

We call for the non-profit status of civil society organizations that contribute to political decision-making and work selflessly for their causes to be secured. Specifically, there is a need to reform non-profit law, which in many respects is not appropriate for the 21st century. Currently, around 220 associations and foundations belong to the alliance, while we, based in Berlin, currently work as a team of two.

The alliance has been in existence since July 2015 – since then, our areas of responsibility have constantly adapted. Since November 18, 2022, we have also been a member of the Federal Network for Civic Engagement (BBE).
