This is who we are

Athletes Germany starts with its members. We are the independent representative body for athletes on the national teams. Olympic, Paralympic, non-Olympic, and Deaflympic—we’re here for everyone! Whether dealing with sports federations or policymakers, we bring key issues to the decision-makers’ tables and make a difference.

As a trusted point of contact, we advise athletes on issues of fundamental importance to their careers. These include, among other things, nomination procedures, athlete agreements, conflict resolution, and experiences of violence. Co-determination matters: That is why we empower athlete representatives to strengthen their position within the federation and improve their conditions through their own efforts.
