BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Moin, here we are. Since our founding in 1993, we have grown considerably. To give you a few figures:

• Our state association currently has 1,705 members (as of November 2025),

• we have eight district associations with a total of 18 local and city associations, and

• 15 state working groups (LAG).

And, of course, we also have representatives: 5 in the state parliament, 1 in the Bundestag, and 2 in the European Parliament.

Our state executive committee consists of 9 people: 2 state chairpersons, 1 treasurer, 1 spokesperson for women's policy, plus 4 assessors and 1 elected member of GRÜNE JUGEND (GJ). The state executive committee (LaVo for short) is something like our head: it manages the affairs of the state association and thus sets the course. The LaVo is re-elected every two years. Our current LaVo was elected in September 2024.
