The German Aerospace Center (DLR) is the Federal Republic of Germany’s research center for aerospace. Its research and development activities in aviation, space, energy, transportation, and safety are integrated into national and international collaborations.

We have 30 locations throughout Germany: Cologne (headquarters of the Executive Board), Aachen, Aachen-Merzbrück, Augsburg, Berlin, Bonn, Braunschweig, Bremen, Bremerhaven, Cochstedt, Cottbus, Dresden, Geesthacht, Göttingen, Hamburg, Hanover, Jena, Jülich, Lampoldshausen, Neustrelitz, Oberpfaffenhofen, Oldenburg, Rheinbach, Stade, St. Augustin, Stuttgart, Trauen, Ulm, Weilheim, and Zittau. In addition, we maintain offices in Brussels, Paris, Tokyo, and Washington, D.C. We currently employ 11,786 people.
