The NExT Network

The NExT Network comprises all public sector employees who network through us and with us, thereby jointly driving forward the digital transformation of public administration.

We are a non-profit platform created by the administration for the administration and thus for society.

As a politically independent network in the public sector, we bring together employees from the federal, state, and local governments, as well as their subordinate authorities, institutions, and corporations, across hierarchies, departments, and federal boundaries – both offline and online.

We refer to these people as the NExT Network.

Because we operate as a supra-federal and cross-departmental network, we founded an association in 2018, NExT e. V. – “Network: Experts for the Digital Transformation of Administration.”

Learning with and from each other

‍Through active exchange on topics related to digital transformation, we learn from and with each other. In our workshops and communities, we also create the framework for joint projects and implement them. In this way, we accelerate the digital transformation of public administration and help to make it simple and secure. To this end, we develop concrete and application-oriented tools in the communities of practice and make them available to public administration.

‍Exchange on equal terms

‍We stand for cooperation, openness, curiosity, and networking. We encourage and deal with failures honestly and transparently so that we can learn from them. That is why we offer protected spaces for public administration at our events. At the same time, we seek exchange with business, science, and society at public events.

Our platform for exchange

With our events, we offer our network in the public sector a platform for exchange and networking. You can find out how you can get involved yourself under "Get involved ".

Together with our members and partners, we hold events throughout Germany or virtually. Our events are generally aimed at all public servants. Information on this can be found in the respective event notices.

As digital pioneers, our workshops and communities offer a space for innovation and experimentation to shape the transformation of traditional organizations, structures, and processes into a digital culture. We call this digital transformation.
