Ocean Energy Europe is the voice of the ocean energy industry. Over 120 organisations, including Europe’s leading utilities, industrialists and research institutes, trust us to represent the interests of Europe’s ocean energy sector.

Mission & Vision

OEE aims to create a strong environment for the development of ocean energy, improve access to funding, and enhance business opportunities for its members. To achieve this, OEE engages with the European Institutions and national ministries on policy issues affecting the sector.

What we do

Our focus areas

OEE works focuses on four main areas: policy advocacy to ensure continued support for the sector, membership services incuding key policy & funding intelligence, dedicated events to network and raise the profile of the sector, and EU funded projects that push the industry forward.

• Policy & Advocacy: OEE follows up on all the latest policy developments at the EU level, and engages on a daily basis with key contacts in EU institutions to encourage support for the sector.

• Membership: OEE works to find the right funding opportunities for its members, and to represent their interests in all stages of development, from design to implementation.

• Events: The OEE annual conference and exhibition is the most important event on the ocean energy calendar, and a meeting point for the whole industry.

• Projects: OEE participates in publicly funded projects where there is a clear benefit to the sector as a whole.
