PIVOT Public Policy & Economics is a management consultancy that offers tailor-made services for companies operating at the intersection of politics, business, and society. Our interdisciplinary team consists of four units: Health Care, Economics & Evaluation, Regulatory, and Public Affairs & Campaigning.

We understand evidence-based regulatory management to be the combination of economic, scientific, legal, and political aspects into an integrated strategy. The focus is on the question of cause and effect between the regulatory framework and the market economy.

PIVOT is interested in the scientific evidence behind regulation. In the field of regulatory science, we want to know exactly which studies actually support bans or other restrictions.

In the field of regulatory advocacy, PIVOT examines the systematics behind the paragraphs and works out the holistic functioning of a regulatory framework as well as the individual market-relevant mechanisms.
