The Swiss Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired is the largest national self-help organisation for people with visual impairments. Since 1911, we have been supporting blind and visually impaired people in leading as independent a life as possible.

The sbv offers a wide range of services for those affected, their families, specialists and companies, including advice, training, leisure activities and innovative digital products. The association is also actively involved in public relations work, raising awareness and representing the interests of its members in politics and society.
