About us

Volt is the first pan-European party. At its core is the conviction that only a Europe acting together can master climate change, the shift to the right and populism, migration and conflicts in a globalised world. Volt is active throughout Europe and campaigns at all levels for a united and federal Europe. We are always looking for people who want to take on responsibility and are keen to help shape political and social work.

Our vision

is a more democratic and transparent Europe that takes responsibility for us. That is why we want a united Europe with genuine European democracy.

We want a strong European Parliament that can propose laws and elect a European Prime Minister who is accountable to our elected representatives. We want a genuine European government that acts in the interests of all Europeans to tackle problems together and seize opportunities.
