For us, social policy begins with the individual. The starting point for our work is the question: what does a person need in order to live a self-determined life? We understand social policy not only as state security, but as a broad field of social design. It encompasses all political, economic and social conditions that enable individual freedom, social participation and fair opportunities. The welfare state is a central instrument in this process, but it is not an end in itself. Its purpose is to create conditions under which people can take responsibility for themselves and others. To achieve this goal, we analyse social structures, develop policy-oriented concepts and create spaces for objective exchange and new ideas.
Our team combines expertise from the fields of politics, social sciences, economics, public policy and communication. We are united by the goal of helping to shape the social policy of tomorrow through scientifically sound work – independently, compatibly and solution-oriented.
